Our commitment to environmental management and climate protection is an integral part of our corporate strategy. We drive forward our environmental management across all divisions and realise potential along the entire value chain. This ranges from the consumption of resources in our administration building to the review of suitable measures in our existing portfolio.
For this reason, we have also created a comprehensive carbon footprint for our property portfolio and developed a decarbonisation strategy with specific and achievable carbon reduction targets.

Since the 2020 reporting year, we have been preparing a carbon footprint for our administrative location and the greenhouse gas emissions associated with our business operations there. The carbon footprint forms the basis for deriving specific measures and options for action to reduce our CO2 emissions. We also regularly invest in certified climate protection projects worldwide in order to fully offset the residual emissions resulting from the business activities at our administrative centre.
