The security of your data is of the utmost importance to HAMBORNER REIT AG, and is therefore adequately taken into account in all our business processes.

a)Using our website

When you access our website, we use SSL (secure socket layer) encryption to transmit data. You can use the entire HAMBORNER REIT AG Internet offering without revealing personal data, with the exception of the technically required information. Specifically, the technically required information consists of the following data:

- IP address
- accessed URL
- date and time of access
- previous URL
- report on whether access was successful
- browser and operating system identifier
- transferred data volume

We also use cookies [see 4.c)].

We process these data on the basis of our legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6(1) f of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in order to provide you with information on this website and to guarantee your IT security when you use this website.

b) Using our contact form and other means of contacting us

We collect and process your personal data (name, e-mail address, etc.) exclusively if you expressly give it to us – particularly in the contact form. You provide us with these data voluntarily as defined by Article 6(1) a GDPR for the purpose of establishing contact and any subsequent sharing of information. You can revoke your consent at any time by simply sending an informal e-mail, for example, to info(at)ir.hamborner.de.

Data requested by the contact form used in our Investor Relations section include: first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number, affiliation with a defined interest group (private investors, institutional investors, analysts, journalists). These are required fields if you wish to contact HAMBORNER REIT AG using our contact form. You also have the option of telling us the name of your company, street name, house number, city, post code, country, fax number and other messages.

You have no statutory or contractual requirement to provide us with these data, nor is it a requirement necessary to enter into a contract. However, please be aware that it is not possible for you to contact us using the contact form, as you wish to, if you do not provide the required data.

c) Use and purpose of cookies

This website uses etracker technology (www.etracker.com) to collect data to analyze user behaviour on our website and to optimize and further develop the website accordingly. All visitor data is saved using an anonymous user ID and can be used to aggregate a usage profile. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the visitor’s local browser cache. It is possible to use these cookies to recognize a visitor’s browser. The data collected by the etracker technology will not be used to determine the personal identity of a website visitor, and will not be compiled with personal data relating to the person referred to by the pseudonym, unless agreed to separately by the person concerned. Cou can fully control the use of cookies by changing the settings in your browser. You can indivudiually limit or deactivate the transfer of cookies. Cookies that are already stored on your computer can be deleted at any time. We need to inform you, however, that this might lead to restrictions of our website functionalities. d) Use of Google Maps

Our website uses Google Maps to display maps and for route planning. When using Google Maps, information on your use of our website (including your IP address) may be sent to Google’s servers. If you have a Google account and are logged in at the same time as using our website, this information will be assigned directly to your personal profile. This involves the processing of: 

- your IP address
- the Internet site accessed
- the date and time of access.

You can prevent your surfing habits from being assigned to your Google account by first logging out of your Google account.

Your personal data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6(1) f GDPR to show you the best ways to get to our offices.

e) Further use of your data and their erasure

We will not sell, or otherwise market, the data provided to us to third parties. We use the data you send to us exclusively in connection with the process for whose purpose you sent us the data. Provided there are no statutory retention requirements to the contrary, data that are not needed are erased immediately.

f) Right to object

If you have voluntarily provided us with your data [see 4.b)], you have the right to revoke this consent to the processing of your data at any time (Article 7(3) GDPR). This can be done informally in writing, electronically, or by telephone. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

We process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests [see 4. a), c) and d)], in particular to provide you with information on this website regarding HAMBORNER’s activities, to guarantee your IT security when you use our website, to perform analyses with the aim of improving the information available on our website, to show you the best ways to get to our offices and to enable you to contact us.

If we process your personal data on the basis of these legitimate interests (Article 6(1) f GDPR), you can object to data processing at any time. We will comply with your objection unless there are important reasons to the contrary as defined by Article 21(1) GDPR.

If you revoke your consent to data processing or if you object to data processing, we will process your personal data gathered in this context to fulfil a legal obligation on the basis of Article 6(1) c GDPR in the context of your desired processing

g) Other rights

Furthermore, with respect to your personal data, you have the right to know what information we have about you (Article 15 GDPR), the right to rectification, i.e. you can arrange for inaccurate information about you to be changed (Article 16 GDPR), the right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR), the right to restrict the processing of your data in accordance with Article 18 GDPR and the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to have this provided to a controller of your choice (Article 20 GDPR).

h) Right of appeal

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for HAMBORNER REIT AG is LDI NRW, Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestr. 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
