Social

The ‘S’ section of ESG stands for ‘Social’ and covers various aspects relating to our relationships with our stakeholders and society in general. By taking social aspects into account and actively promoting them, we contribute to the positive and sustainable development of society and strengthen our competitiveness at the same time.

One of our focal points is our employees

We offer fair working conditions, opportunities for further training and a working environment in which diversity and equal opportunities are practised. We create a balance between professional and private life through flexible working models and health promotion programmes. Our employees are the heart of our company, and their satisfaction and development are important to us.

Charta der Vielfalt

The aim of Charta der Vielfalt is to promote the recognition, appreciation and inclusion of employee diversity in the world of work. Organisations should create a working environment that is free from prejudice. HAMBORNER REIT AG has been a signatory to the ‘Diversity Charter’ since 2024.

Social responsibility around our properties

Our properties are an integral part of the infrastructure of cities and communities. In this respect, we also see our contribution to the development of cityscapes as a social responsibility. As part of modernisation and refurbishment measures, we always ensure that the respective city centre and conservation statutes are taken into account, for example to guarantee the protection of historic facades. This usually ensures the preservation of a uniform cityscape and the appropriate integration of our properties into their surroundings. In addition, by letting our commercial properties, we also contribute to securing local supply at our property locations.
