An aktiengesellschaft (AG) is a corporation with shareholders who hold stock in it.

The three executive bodies of a stock corporation are its annual general meeting, its supervisory board and its management board. Minimum or share capital of €50,000 is required to form a stock corporation. Unlike other corporations, the share capital of a stock corporation is divided into shares.
