CAPEX

CapEx is short for capital expenditure on long-term (non-current) assets.

Non-current assets

Long-term or non-current assets refer to machinery, buildings, original equipment, spare parts, computer systems, etc. CapEx is a key indicator in accounting. The costs of capital expenditure increase the assets recognised that are written down on a long-term basis.
