EBITDA

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (income taxes only).

What does EBITDA mean?

The EBITDA indicator describes a company’s earning power and refers to operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation. By disregarding interest, financing expenses and other extraordinary costs, this definition of EBITDA is intended to show a company’s profitability without external factors. Adjusted EBITDA means EBITDA without special items: Special items are events and items that occur once and do not affect operating activities.
