HAMBORNER REIT AG - Property portfolio growth

- Properties in Erlangen and Offenburg added to books

- Current portfolio value of around EUR487 million

- Further growth planned

Duisburg, 1 August 2011 - HAMBORNER REIT AG today added two further properties to its portfolio. One of these is the newly built shopping, service and office centre in the east of Erlangen known as Campus Röthelheimpark. The purchase agreement for the property with usable space of around 11,500 m² and an investment volume of approximately EUR28 million was already notarised at the end of 2010. The property was developed and sold by Sontowski & Partner GmbH, Erlangen.
The other property added to HAMBORNER's books was a retail property situated in a prime location in Offenburg's pedestrianised zone leased to the drugstore chain operator Müller. The corresponding purchase agreement was signed in June of this year. The investment volume for the property sold by the Cordea Savills retail fund is around EUR8 million.
HAMBORNER REIT AG therefore has a portfolio value of around EUR487 million distributed across 69 properties at 51 locations in Germany. The company still intends to grow in the three asset classes of large-area retail, office and high street, and plans to achieve a total portfolio value of around EUR500 million by the end of 2011.
