HAMBORNER REIT AG - Sale of an office and commercial property in Essen

Duisburg, 12 May 2016 - HAMBORNER REIT AG is systematically driving the optimisation of its real estate portfolio. It has sold another smaller, administration-intensive property that is no longer consistent with its strategy. The sales contract of an office and commercial property in Essen was signed on 10 May 2016. The property, which has a rental area of around 2,300 square metres, nine rental units and annual rental income of around EUR267,000, has been owned by HAMBORNER REIT AG since 1982. The selling price is approximately EUR3.26 million. The buyer of the property is a private investor. Transfer of possession is expected to take place in the second half of 2016.
