HAMBORNER REIT AG - starting use of funds from capital increase
Duisburg, 25 November 2010 - HAMBORNER REIT AG is making great strides in extending its growth and, as announced, is promptly starting to invest the funds from its capital increase. After reporting the transfer of ownership for the commercial property in Lemgo to our company portfolio just a few days ago, today we are able to announce the authentication of documents for another two attractive properties in Southern Germany. One of these properties is a specialist doctors centre in Regensburg in the immediate vicinity of the hospital 'Caritas Krankenhaus St. Josef'. Another is an office complex with a production and laboratory area in Brunnthal. The property is the headquarters of SFC Energy AG, the world's market leader for mobile and remote network energy supply based on fuel cell technology. The two properties with a total floor space of around 15,500 m2 were purchased in a package for approximately EUR 33 million. Total rental earnings are about EUR 2.3 million and gross initial yields are hence around 7.1%. Both properties will be included in the 1st quarter of 2011.
The previous owner and seller are project companies of Hubert Haupt Immobilien Holding, Grünwald. The properties were mediated by the estate agent Dr. Than / Marktinvest Real Estate.
HAMBORNER REIT AG plans to further expand in the asset classes Retail Trade and Office Real Estate. Since the beginning of the year HAMBORNER has been able to invest a total of around EUR 123 million in new, attractive real estate, approximately 50% of which has already been transferred. The net issue proceeds of around EUR 76 million achieved with the successfully placed capital increase provides the basis for further growth and is to be profitably invested in attractive real estate as soon as possible.
